Humble Beginnings
Sapphic Self didn’t start as a business. It started with us — making homemade gifts for friends. Bath blends, balms, little bits of comfort crafted by hand. We didn’t have a grand plan. We just wanted to make things that helped the people we loved feel better.
Eventually, those same friends and chosen family started asking for more — and gently suggested that maybe, just maybe, we could sell the things we made. 💌We shrugged it off at first. Selling felt like a big step, and we weren’t sure anyone outside our circle would be interested.
But the idea kept coming back. So, we gave it a chance.
✨ It was cosy fun and definitely messy, but it felt right. ✨
We realised Sapphic Self was something we not only wanted — we needed it. We started building our name, shaping our style, and finding the kind of magic we wanted to share with others. What started as a handful of homemade gifts turned into a brand rooted in queer care, creativity, and unapologetic authenticity.
What We Make - and, Why?
We make products that meet people where they are – tired, hurting, overstimulated, burnt out, grieving, healing, discovering, surviving.
We craft for the anxious bath takers, the sore-jointed spell casters, the witchy girls and chronically ill babes who are just trying to get through another day.
Sapphic Self is built on empowerment, honesty, and self love & care. Our bath spells, balms, scrubs, and fabric goods aren’t just pretty things — they’re made with real thought, experience, and purpose.
We research every ingredient, infuse our oils by hand, and make in small batches to ensure each product is effective and ethically made.
We do this because we know how it feels to need something that helps. Something you can trust. Something made for you — not just a generalised idea of what self-care should look like.

Everything we make is born from personal experiences — from our own chronic pain, mental health struggles, neurodivergence, and the deep desire to feel okay in a world that doesn’t always make space for us. 🖤🌙
We know how exhausting it is to be overlooked, under-supported, or told that self-care should be a specific way. That’s not what we’re about.
Sapphic Self is messy in the best way — handmade, human, heart-led. We grow many of our own ingredients, forage things responsibly & with care. We create everything in small batches with good vibes and focused intentions. Some days we work with aching joints or anxious thoughts, but we show up anyway — because this work matters. Because you matter.

We create our products with ethical sourcing always at the centre of our ethos. 🌈🌱Every product we offer is designed to bring care into everyday routines/ rituals — whether it’s a full moon bath or a moment of quiet with a warm heat pack on your shoulders.
What Comes Next
We’re still growing — slowly, intelligently, with so many dreams in our cauldron. From custom labels/ stickers (My Cricut saga is finally yielding results!) to new seasonal spell kits, possible workshops, and limited-edition offerings, there’s so much we want to create.
We’re building this space for people like us. People who crave beauty and honesty. Magic and mess. Rest and resilience.
