The day everything went wrong, and why it might have been the best thing that could’ve happened

🌊 The Great Storage Disaster of 2025 🔮

So, I guess I’ll start with saying — when I first started making bath spells, I loved them. I really did. But even then, I could tell there were things I wanted to change. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, it was more of a vibe, ya know? After some time, I decided some of the blends felt too similar. Others had so many ingredients packed in that I couldn’t even tell you what the main intention was anymore.

I’m not saying I manifested disaster but… I’ll admit I’d already been daydreaming about stripping them back and remaking them into something clearer, more purposeful, moving forward.

And then… the universe decided to help me along in the most chaotic, devastating way possible.

The Great Storage Disaster of 2025

One day, I went to check my stock and… everything was ruined. Water had gotten into the storage at some point — idek when?! — and every single bath spell was destroyed.

Herbs had clumped into swampy tangles, salts had melted into sad little damp bricks, and the smell was… not magical. All the little tags curled up like wilted leaves. There wasn’t a single survivor.

I cried. I swore. I genuinely sat there on the floor staring at the wreckage thinking: what’s the actual point? Hours of work. Money gone. All of it soggy, ruined, unsalvageable. And it wasn’t just stock — it was energy, intention, tiny pieces of myself that I’d poured into those bags.

But we move. After I got past the heartbreak and the frustration, I realised maybe this was the push I needed. I could sit in the wreckage and give up, or I could take this as a chance to start fresh. And that’s exactly what I did.

The Rebirth 🌿

So, I started again. This time, with a clear head and clear intentions.

I asked myself: what do I want each spell to actually do? What’s its purpose? I stripped them back, simplified where I needed to, and made sure each blend had a heart — one central thing it was created for.
There was a lot of experimenting. Picture me in the kitchen with bowls of herbs, muttering to myself like a chaotic witchy scientist, sniffing rosemary and peppermint and thinking, nah, more zing, less swamp.

I also had to rethink packaging. The old organza bags with tags were cute, but they didn’t protect the spells. They weren’t practical for storage, and as the disaster proved, they weren’t durable. So now the spells live in resealable pouches with proper front-and-back labels. They’re safer, clearer, and they finally feel like the kind of professional-looking product I’d always imagined giving people.
Organza hasn’t vanished completely though. You can still get them as little add-ons when you order — perfect for hanging the blend under the running tap like a tea bag for your bath.
I also added magnesium power-ups — because sometimes you need that extra level of soothing and muscle relief. It felt like a natural evolution.

The Spells, Reimagined ✨

After all the plotting, planning, and experimenting, I can finally proudly announce the new line-up — what each spell is for, and why we designed its look the way we did:

Reimagined

🌸 Anxious Bean — For calming nerves and quieting the mind. A gentle friend for days when your brain won’t stop spiralling. Chamomile and lavender bring soft, familiar comfort.

Design: Soft bean-like motif — silly, soothing, intentionally playful, because sometimes anxiety needs levity, not heaviness.

New

🌿 Focus Pocus — To clear mental fog and spark creativity. For new projects, fresh thoughts, sharper mornings. Rosemary and peppermint bring that zing of clarity.

Design: Sharp, star-like symbols and bold greens — crisp and clean, like a blank page waiting for your ideas.

New

🕯️ Banish & Begin — A refreshing reset. Release what doesn’t serve you, step into something lighter. Herbal sage and eucalyptus for a cleansing kick.

✨ Design: Darker tones, smokier accents, tiny flame motifs — banishment, but hopeful, like a candle flickering in the dark.

New

✨ Golden — For luck, joy, and brightness. Days when you want a glow-up for your mood, or a little fortune on your side. Citrus warmth and sparkle.

✨ Design: Gold tones, radiant bursts, glitter details — a label that shines like sunlight on water.

Reimagined

💖 Love — For self-worth, tenderness, and care. Rose and sweet notes, nurturing and intimate. This isn’t just about romance, but about reminding yourself you deserve love.

✨ Design: Deep pinks, soft petals. Romantic but warm — like a love letter to yourself.

Reborn

🌸 Milk Blossom — A seasonal spring spell. Gentle florals, fresh, fleeting, like the blossom season itself. Renewal in a pouch.

Design: Petal flourishes, airy pastels — light as a spring morning.

Reborn

🛁 Cleo’s Blessing — Inspired by Cleopatra’s milk baths. Luxurious, nourishing, indulgent. Because you deserve to feel royal now and then.

Design: Regal touches — soft golds, ancient motifs, whispers of luxury without shouting.

New

🌙 Lunar Daze — A dreamy, sleepy soak to help you unwind before bed. Blue cornflowers, lavender, chamomile, and softening oats come together with milk powder and grounding cedarwood and ylang ylang. It’s a ritual of rest — for drifting into calmer nights and gentler dreams.

Design: Midnight tones with soft blues and purples, scattered stars and moonlit accents. Peaceful, drowsy, and celestial — like sinking into sleep under a night sky.

Lessons from the Soggy Mess 🪄

The disaster was painful — and honestly, it still stings when I think about all that waste. But it forced me to stop, rethink, and build something better.

Now the bath spells feel clearer, stronger, and more magical than they ever did before. Every pouch holds not just herbs and salts, but the story of resilience, adaptation, and a little chaos magic. Because sometimes life gives you a mess. And sometimes, the mess is exactly what you need to grow.

From my cauldron of chaos to your tub of magic,

Tia
