A Legacy of Resilience

Tough Love is the heavy weight champion of our balms – born from the stinging nettles of the garden and the grease of the workshop. It’s inspired by Tia’s dad: an agricultural mechanic, farmer, and biker who looks “hard” on the outside but carries the kindest soul within.

This is punk self-care. It’s for the hands that work with soil, tools, and heat. It’s for the makers and the anxious beans who need a grounding anchor to soothe anxiety and keep their skin intact. It’s about honouring the scars, the callouses, and the grit it takes to exist in the world.

The Purpose: The Great Neutralizer

We designed this to be the ultimate “clean up and dress up” ritual.

• The Garden & Workshop: Perfect for soothing the sting of thorns and the roughness of manual labor.

• The Kitchen Witch: Tia uses this to neutralize the stubborn smells of garlic and onions that stay with your hands long after the cooking is done.

• The Mental Reset: Scented with Geranium, the “go-to” for mental health soothing and emotional balance. It offers a moment of clarity and grounding that lingers long after application.

The Magic (Why it works)

• The “Healer” Infusion: We slow-steep olive oil with Calendula (our favourite herbal healer), Turmeric, Cloves, Nutmeg, Ginger, and Cinnamon. This blend is a powerhouse of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties.

• The Bright Yellow Hue: That vibrant colour is pure, natural magic from the turmeric and calendula—a visual reminder of the restorative energy inside.

• Geranium & Cinnamon: This duo works to uplift the spirit and cover strong, earthy odors, leaving you smelling fresh and grounded.

• Heavy-Duty Base: Shea butter and beeswax create a physical shield that seals and softens even the roughest “mechanic’s hands.”
